I have been so happy for so long now. My father has sent me the most BEAUTIFUL pair of shoes. They are silver with sparkles of shimmering pinks, blues, and mostly reds. He could not have gotten me a better present. They look so wonderful the way Elphaba has fixed them on my feet. I am a little happy that cannot walk, because if I could I would end up ruining these shoes. I don't think I'll ever take them off, not even when I die. I may leave them for Elphie in my will, though I know she has no use for such elegant shoes, when i recieved them, she looked green with evny, literally. Really though, I could see a hint of jealousy when she slid them onto my feet. I feel so sorry for her, the way father treats her, always telling her not to talk and such. She really needs to get out more and meet some people, all she talks about is her books, and Doc.Dillamond, and all she ever does is read, and help me with things, most of them I could accomplish by myself. Well lessons are going well, al Skylie is really nice, we have been talking often. That's about it.

I can't sleep. The rain is keeping me up, as it did last night, for it has been raining since then. I've been reading, singing, counting sheep, and NOTHING is making me tired. I would normally take a nice stroll in the rain, very calming, but it's late. Although if I'm complaining I do need to just put myself in my sisters shoes, she is allergic to water. She hasn't been inside lately, and she has talked to Galinda (her roomie) a little bit, from what she says. I belive Galinda might be a bit jealous of her, because she displayed her powers, and I know Galinda wants the attention Elphaba now has from Madame Morrible. O well writing this has made me tired so I'd better try to get some sleep.

Just a few days ago, I met this girl, Skylie. She seems nice and I will probably have a class with her. I am so glad I met someone besides my sister. I haven't been doing much really. I've read some stuff, and daydreamed often, but I haven't done anything productive. I have gotten plenty of thinking dome, but I wont write about it now. Well that's it.
Aloha (my new phrase)

Well I'm al settled in and I've been trying to go to sleep, but I keep hearing people walking around. You think after living in Quaddling Country for most of my life, I'd be used to uncomfortable sleeping, but I'm not. Tomorrow I'll go around the school and try to meet some people. It's not like I don't know anyone, but Elphaba is so anti-social, and her roommate, Galinda, is kind of snobby. I wonder if there are some nice people from Munchkinland around here somewhere. I sure hope so. I'm going to go out and see who is making all that noise, and probably come right back in and go to sleep.
Until next time,

Character's name: Nessarose
Character's age: 15ish @ Shiz (if i did the math in the book right)
Character's race: Munchkin
Birthplace: Munchkinland, grew up in Quadling Country
Apperence: gorgeous, pink, slender as a wheat stalk, and in a wheelchair
History:Sister of Elphaba, born to Frex, and Melena. Lived in Quadling counrty as a child, while her father was a missionary there.
Sample Post:"Elphaba wait!" Nessarose called to her sister. "I need to talk to...oh never mind." *For the love of the Unnamed God, does Elphie not realize that being in a wheelchair slows one down.* As Nessa rolled into her room to put up a book she glanced out the window and saw a big black cloud heading for Shiz. *Elphie must have realized it was going to rain. At least she had an excuse for ignoring me THIS time.* Nessa wheeled outside and toward the cafe, she was to meet her friends there. She rolled quickly for she had just recived a gorgeous pair of shoes from her father, and did NOT intend to get them wet.
Elphaba and I were talking tonight as she helped me get unpacked. She walked around the campus for a few minutes while Father was still helping me with my luggage and such. She said that she saw many Gillikinese, and they all acted rich and stuck-up. Yet knowing Elphaba, she may have just assumed they were stuck-up because she didn't know them. After our talk about Gillikinese, I went over to Elphie's room to keep her company while she unpacked. she has a roomate from Frottica. I had never met someone from Gillikin until tonight. She seemed very perky, and smiled almost all the time. She did had an odd look on her face when Elphie, and I came into the room, for with my sister's emerald skin, and me in my chair, we do make for an interesting pair. I can jsut imagine what she thought of us...probably something alomg the lines of ... I feel so bad for the girl in the chair, and having to grow up with that green girl. She was quite pretty, beautiful golden curls, and legs that work and a normal skin color. She did seem quite stuck-up so maybe Elphaba was telling the truth about them. Well thats all for now. Must say my prayers to the Unnamed God, and go to sleep. Until tomorrow then.
